Fun Family Park Day
It is very rare that we all go to the park together as a family. On the day after Christmas we packed a pinic dinner and took our new skates, bikes, dart blasters, and balls to the park. We also launced rocket balloons. It was great!!

Ben will be 17 months tomorrow!!
Ben is getting too big too fast.  He is such a little cutie!  I registered for the HM Regional meeting the end of February, so it looks like we are coming for sure.  They will be the 26th in the evening and I think during the day on the 27th.  I would love for you to come to the evening session with me.  Also, if you have any friends who might be interested in possibly doing the business, this would be a great meeting for them to attend.  You mentioned that you would have a couple of parties for me, or we can put them all as one party and you would get even more things.  I will find out the times for the meetings and let you know as soon as possible.  Do you think your mom would be interested in the business at all?
Happy storytelling!

Videos from Veterans Day Concert

This is a very random post but these are videos from the Veterans Day Program Circle Cross Elementary had back in November. I was very glad that the school did a veterans day program this year and was very pleased how it turned out. Each grade level performed in some way. A lady in my ward asked if I could video the kindergarten and 2nd grade performances for her because she and her husband weren't going to be able to perform. Of course I was already planning on recording anyways so it was no problem at all (which is why I may be focusing on random kids every once in awhile). The videos were too big to email and other then burning them onto a DVD (which I have no idea how to do) this was the only want I thought of that they could see the videos. Sorry this took so long to get to you Vest family. Here we go...

And Now (Finally) Christmas 2009

My kids are weird. Their Christmas lists included boxes of cereal, Cheez-It crakcers, and they all wanted a bag of balloons. Abby also asked for grass seeds. We eventually took them around WalMart and let them look in the toy section and that got them a little more excited. Andy asked Santa for a dart blaster, a pogo stick, a bigger bike, and a clappy hand. In Alex's letter he asked Santa for a pooh bear, a pony that is brown and has a ribbon, a dart blaster, and a laser gun. Abby wanted an Ipod and a puppy. We got to see Santa at the Town Christmas Party on December 4th. Ben was not too excited about it.On December 5th Abby got to walk in the Queen Creek Christmas Parade with her girl scout troop. She was pretty nervous about this and was worried her legs would hurt and get too tired, but she wanted to try. I told her that if she absolutely got too tired that when she saw us she could stop walking and come sit with us. Luckily we sat near the end of the parade because that is what she did! Her girl scout leader said she did great and only lagged behind when she stopped to pass out candy canes.

Tyler got to go to Andy and Alex's class Christmas party. They sang a few songs too. Here they are singing "Must Be Santa".
