We celebrated Ben's 2md birthday a little early ~ on August 16 ~ with Grandma and Grandpa Allen, Grandma Pam & Grandpa Dave, and the Kent family. Ben loved all the attention he got during present time. Ü

We celebrated my Grandma Hall's 87th birthday at my mom's house on Ben's b-day (Grandma's birthday is the 23rd). Ben had had enough of all the birthday fun...
...he just wanted his Grandma

Ben's 2 year stats are ...

35.6 lbs

37 3/4 inches

He learned how to say "no" this week. I love how he says "oopsies".
He now folds his arms and closes his eyes during prayer.
He loves to throw, climb, jump, slide, swing, and swim. But I often get lucky and he will entertain himself with toys and books. He also is starting to sit for movies. He LOVES Elmo and Signing Time.
We love you Ben Ben!! Ü

Tiger Cubs and Tonto Natural Bridge Hike

Several months ago while we were at Empire Park we watched a cub scout troop shooting off rockets. The leader of the troop approached me asking about Andy and Alex and how old they were. He was surprised to find out they were only 5 but told me about the Tiger Cubs and how it is for boys who were either 7 years old or in 1st grade. Thats us !! (The 1st grade part anyway.) We've signed the boys up and they are so excited to be a part of Pack 738. When they turn 8 we will switch them over to our ward pack.
Andy and Alex's first activity as Tiger Cubs was a trip to the Tonto Natural Bridge. A requirement for the Tiger Cubs is they need to have a parent at every activity which means Tyler will be their parent partner for the year. They were very excited to go on this hike and Tyler and the boys had a fun time.
Alex making friends

Of course they were the youngest boys - and the tallest - as usual. Here they are with 8, 9, and 10 year old boys from the pack.

Worn out from too much fun
We attened the 1st pack night last Wednesday and are awaiting information as to when their first Den meeting will be. I can't wait to post a picture of them in their uniform!! Ü
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What fun! Please put all your pictures in HM and share them with me. I especially like the last one with them both asleep! Too cute!
Happy storytelling!
Guess Who Got Baptized
August 14, 2010
Matilyn Hatch was baptized too
Get together afterwards
Abby and Sophia Wares
Abby was very excited about her new scriptures...especially since they had her name on them Ü
It was a beautiful day. My favorite part was hugging her right before she went into the water (her last hug before she was baptized) and then hugging her right when she came out of the water (1st hug after being baptized). Her Grandma Allen gave the talk on the Holy Ghost, I gave the closing prayer, and Abby and I played the piano - I Am Like A Star.
We are so proud of her!!
