K-3 Music Concert
The kids had a music concert at school tonight. It was ...interesting. It was for K-3rd grade and with all the kids and parents there were just too many people. Our family was sitting way over to the side so I couldn't really see Andy and Alex perform at all. Or hear them for that matter. I snuck my camera to my friend Kathy who had a better view but do you think I listened to that little feeling that said - check the batteries in your camera. Of course not!! Between the few of us we got a few pictures.
The K/1st grade sang songs about animals. They all have animal masks on.
2nd/3rd grade sang songs about peace and love. They all have big peace signs on.

Here's my animals. I said to Alex, "Lets see - you must be a duck." "No mom! I'm a turkey!" Apparently he was the only turkey in 1st grade. To Andy I said, "Well I know you're a frog." "No mom! I'm a turtle!!"

For Abby's performance I was able to get a better seat. I did catch this video which I was really happy about. Abby has been signing this song to everyone she knows for months. Wish I could have gotten more video but I'll take what I can get.
DISCLAIMER: MY VIDEO WON'T UPLOAD!! I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR LIKE 24 HOURS TO GET IT ON HERE AND IT'S NOT WORKING. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING BECAUSE THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THIS BLOG POST WAS TO POST THIS CUTE VIDEO. FIRST NO VIDEO OF THE BOYS AND THEN MY CAMERA KEPT DYING AND THEN ~ HAPPINESS BEAUSE I DID RECORD A LITTLE BIT AND ABBY WAS SO CUTE BUT NOW ~UG! MAJOR BUMMER. I'LL KEEP TRYING BUT FOT THE SAKE OF TRYING REALLY HARD TO STAY CAUGHT UP ON MY BLOG I'M MOVING ON. SO SAD.
She's smack in the middle of the 2nd row. This is them signing Pizza Love.

Recap of February
I love it when I find them reading!!
They usually do 20 minutes of reading before school. This was fun to walk in on. Ü

Andy and Alex brought home free tickets to the Circo-O-Sorio circus so on February 15th Tyler took the 3 boys down to Florence to see that. They had a good time and all liked something different.

That same night Abby and I went to her Activity Day Recognition Night. She played I Am Like a Star on the piano.
Alex and Abby lost teeth
Andy and Alex started T-ball. Here are some pictures from their practice and their first game.
They had Clifford the Big Red Dog at the game. He doesn't look so big to me.
And last but not least I am finally getting my Christmas present from 2009 ~ a box garden!!
Ready to rake!
We're planting carrots, green onions, peas, summer squash, and cucumbers. For a family who doesn't really like vegetables this should be interesting.
Cross your fingers that it grows!!
And look ~ we found blossoms on one of our apple trees!!! We do like apples. Ü
