Andy and Alex's Birthday Part 1

Alex and Andy each got to choose a friend to take with them to the Lizzard Walk at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum yesterday (September 10th). This was their "birthday party". Andy chose to bring Cole and Alex chose to bring Ashton. Tyler took the boys while Abby, Ben, and I played at Grandma's hosue. Ü
Here they are chekcing out the children's area and maze before the hike started

The hike was about 1 1/2 miles and took 2 1/2 hours to complete. The boys saw all kind of little creatures and had a great time. Afterwards Tyler took the boys to McDonalds. Of course he left the camera in the car ~ MEN!! Ü ~ so didn't get any pictures of them playing or of Andy and Alex opening their presents. Here they are at home with the fun gifts Cole and Ashton gave them.

That night Tyler and I took them out to eat at Sweet Tomatoes. Yummy!!

Ben's birthday is on August 22nd. My Grandma Hall's birthday is August 23rd. So they got to celebrate together. We went to dinner at Golden Corral and then went back to Grandma Hall's house for presents and cake. Grandma opened her presents first.

41.8 lbs

42 inches tall

shorts size 4T/shirts size 5T/shoe size 11

He loves to build his train at Grandma Pam's house. It is the first thing he goes for. Often he will get our Geo Trax out and build here too.Like his brother Alex, Ben LOVES puzzles and will spend hours a day doing them over and over. He amazes me.

Ben has always loved letters and numbers. He can recognize all his capital letters and most of his lower case letters and can count to 30. WOW!! He just learned how to draw smiley faces.

We love our sweet & smiley Ben Ben!!
