Puzzles

Alex really got into puzzles this summer. It started with this one - a 100 piece space puzzle he bought with his own money at the Natural History Museum in Utah.
Next he worked on a box of Disney puzzles we had (except he wouldn't do the princess/girly ones Ü). This one is a 150 piece Mickey Mouse puzzle.

Then came this 300 piece Pinocchio puzzle ~ which he did have help on from Melissa - our friends' the Kent's cousin who was over to play.

350 piece flower garden puzzle

He did this one twice ~ a 500 piece Toy Story one

All Finished!!

I can't believe how much patience he has to work on these puzzles. He works a little every day. Now he is working on this 1000 piece Pooh Bear puzzle with Tyler - although Alex has done most of it. This is one of those puzzles where each piece has little pictures on it. He never gives up. It comes so easy to him to see how the pieces fit together. It blows me away!!

Utah Temples

We made a point to drive to as many temples as we could while we were in Utah last month. I love how different and beautiful each one is. Ben loved seeing all the Angel Moroni's and still talks about it.

Tyler's grandparents live right next to this temple

We made the trip back home in 2 days with a stop in St. George where we stayed the night with Tyler's Aunt Norma. On the way down to St. George we stopped at BYU in Provo to look around, buy a book from the bookstore, and eat lunch at the Cougar Eat.

What a great trip we had!! I can't believe we packed so much in!! I also can't believe I surevived being in the sicko pregnant state I was in. We were very blessed to be able to take this trip and visit with family and make memories together.
