I woke up on Mother's Day at 6am to a gallon of milk sitting on my night stand. Upon further inspection I found a bowl with an unopened pack of oatmeal inside and a bowl of strawberries. Abby had gotten up at 5:45am and left me breakfast in bed.
Being a mom is the craziest and hardest thing I've ever done ~ but I wouldn't want to be doing anything else.
Happy Mother's Day!!
Priceless! Once, when we lived in Arvada , Marci got up early, drove to our house, prepared a wonderful breakfast of eggs, toast, fruit and orange juice and brought it to me in bed. It was quite the shocker, because Marci is like me, in that she is a night person not a morning person. Even adult children will surprise you sometimes. ~ Aldine Allen

What a fun update! I just read all of your recent posts! :) Way to go, Abby, with your science project! That's exciting that she did so great! I think it's awesome that you are so involved at the school! Very cool! We have watched one of the Narnia movies together, a few months ago and the kids really liked it! I wasn't sure that they would, but they did! I can't wait to read them the stories! We have the whole series and maybe that would be a good choice to read after Little House is done! You are such a great mom and I enjoy hearing about how your family is doing! :D)
