Tyler's mom was out for a visit from January 5th - 11th. Tyler's dad doesn't travel much anymore so it's just been mom who has come out the last few times. It's alwasy so nice to have her here. She made hats for the big kids and brought Tanner a few outfits. We made 3 different kinds of bread and yummy cinnamon rolls while she was here. She played games with the kids, read to them, went to the park with them, and was a great help at holding a baby - even when he peed on her multiple times. Ü
Since she was in town - and wasn't going to be able to come back out in a few months - we went ahead and blessed Tanner on Jaunary 8th. I'm sure people thought we were nuts blessing our 1 week old baby. Don't worry ~ I left right after the sacrament was passed.
Grandma Pam made my hat!
Great Grandma Hall ~ itf I did my math right this is her 74th great grandchild
with Grandma Pam and Grandpa Dave 4 generations
Tanner is Grandma Allen's 33rd grandchild
Proud Big Sister She even carried him into the chapel and seemed so grown up
Tanner was blessed by his Daddy. Grandpa Dave, Travis Schureman, Alan Billingsley, Sterling Kent, and Bishop Miller assisted with the blessing. Aaron Hullinger and Tres Service were also asked but they were not in church that day. Daddy told Tanner he was a choice spirit who would help further the Lord's work. He said his testimony would shine forth and that he would have no fear in sharing the gospel. Daddy blessed Tanner that he would recognize the love his family had for him and that he would follow the examples of his siblings. He was blessed with health and strength as he served a mission, married in the temple, and magnified his callings. He was told that he would be a great example.
Check this out! Tyler and I keep calling Tanner Ben. Look close and see what I even wrote on the calendar on the 8th!!
What a special day!
