So cute to see. Ü

Picking up Noah Ü

Besides my kids, and my babysitting kids, the neighborhood kids also like to hang out

How daycare came about was kind of a neat experience.  With our situation the last year I'd been wondering what I could do to help out...to help support.  I was tossing around the idea of maybe substitute teaching...maybe getting a job at the kids school.  Day care was at the bottom of my list.  I've done day care in the past and while I love kids and all I swore I would never do it again.  Obviously Tanner is still at home so that was an issue.  My mom had thought she may be able to watch Tanner, but with all the problems my dad and grandma...and herself...have been having it was just going to be too much.  Too make any money substitute teaching I'd pretty much be having to sub full time.  I really had a  desire to be home but we needed to be making some more income so day care started sounding a bit better.  This was mid September or so that I started thinking this was the direction I wanted to go...but assumed I wouldn't be able to find anyone to watch....that people already had their day cares set up with the new school year.  I told Heavenly Father that if this is what I needed to be doing right now that he would kind of need to make the opportunity pop up because I didn't really no how to go about finding anyone.  And He did!!  I started seeing on facebook people needing day care providers, people started approaching me and asking if I would be willing to watch their kids, friends who knew I was thinking about doing day care led me to their family and friends.  It was like Wow!!  So yeah, I know this is what I am supposed to be doing to help our family right now.  Another neat thing is the patience I've been able to have.  I naturally find life pretty over whelming most of the time but even with all that is going on I find that I'm being blessed with a sense of calm.  Pretty cool.

So basically there's kids everywhere almost all the time.
And most of the time...I like it. Ü

Primary Program Day Ü
10-23-16
Tanner ~ "I love when my family has family home evening."
Ben ~ "I felt the Holy Ghost when I chose to be baptized."
They really did do great.

Tyler's 39!!
10-27-16

Tyler's boss at Nuvo marketing gave Tyler this YUMMY German Chocolate Cake and a gift card to Cheesecake Factory!!!  That was so nice!!  He then laid him off 3 weeks later. :(  That wasn't so nice.
I really didn't know what to do to make Tyler's birthday special.  It seems silly but I was even praying about what I could do.  He's such a special guy...he's needed something special!!  The day before his birthday I was at the park and my friend Rachel told me about this recipe for fish tacos she tried that was super yummy.  That was it!!!  Tyler loves fish tacos!!  So guess what we made for his birthday.  I guess it wasn't super special but it was something new and something he enjoyed.  Prayers are answered. Ü

Happy Birthday Ty!!  One more year until you're old. Ü

Ben made Honor Roll for the 1st Quarter!!  He was a little sad to get his first B.

Its Soccer Time!!

Tanner COULD NOT wait for his first soccer practice.  He was super excited!!
11-2-16

Coach Patrick

Ready for his 1st game!!
11-5-16

He was so funny!!  I put him on the 5/6 year old team because I figured if I put him on the 3/4 year old team he would run everyone over. Ü  But maybe it would have been better to put him with his age group because he just didn't quite get it.  He tended to run away from the ball instead of toward it.  But he sure had fun just running!!  And by the end of the season he had kicked the ball a few times. Ü

Look at the joy!!  SO excited to be playing SOCCER!!

Ready for action!!
He asked every day if it was soccer day and loved to wear his uniform, shin guards, socks, and cleats around the house.

His team was called the Gray Rhinos.
Noah Romero from the ward was on the team.

Ben's in soccer too!!
~ The Green Gators with Coach Dan ~
Kaden & Melody Service, Meagan Kent, and Abby Dunn from the ward were on the team

Ben was quite the soccer star and scored several goals each game!!

Playing goalie and running through the tunnel at the end of the game

Soccer Moms Ü
~ Jenna Grant, Kathy Kent, me, Tish Hurd, Roseanne Service ~

The first Saturday in November Abby, Andy, & Ben got to participate in a service opportunity by performing with their piano group at Soltera Senior Living Center in Mesa.
11-5-16

They each played 3 songs on the piano and Abby and Andy played a duet together.  Abby is actually the only one taking piano lessons right now, but Miss Natalie let former students come participate as well.  So grateful they had this opportunity to keep working on their piano and to serve!!  Alex was planning on performing too until he found out he had his end of the season football luncheon at the same time.

Great job guys!!
~ with Kaden Service ~
On Sunday, November 13th our ward was involved in a split.  Our ward was actually divided in two and  the Gary ward was created.  Our family stayed in the Skyline ward.

I guess when you have a 12 & 13 year old Sunday School class this size its time to do something. Ü

Our Primary Presidency at the time of the split...
~ Penny Pew, Carin Dawson, Tiffany McGee, Lexi Morris, Ariann Davis, Megan Graves ~
4 went into Gary ward and 2 stayed in Skyline
(this was posted on our wad Facebook page so I thought I'd snag it for memories Ü)

Tanner loved his primary teachers Brother Mendoza and Brother Kasitgar (not in the picture) and the friends in his class.  Change is hard!!  People who live right across the street aren't in our ward anymore!! :(

With the ward change came another change...after 4 years and 3 months Tyler was released as Bishop.  Its a bittersweet for sure.  While it was hard having him gone so much I really loved the fact that he was Bishop.  I felt like we were only doing as well as we were in life because of the prayers of the ward members and wasn't sure how we would survive without that!!  Surviving we are and I do like sitting next to him in sacrament meeting again.  4 years is a long time not to do that!!
Lots of love to Brother Payne and Brother Woods.  These 3 were an awesome Bishopric!!

Our new Bishop is Marty Johnson (he was Tyler's executive secretary) with Alan Billingsley as 1st counselor, Lamar Chlarson as 2nd counselor, and Steve Hope as executive secretary.

Someone got her braces off!!
11-16-16

And some of us got to make a cute Christmas card at a fun scrapbooking night.
I love when it looks like I'm crafty. Ü
~ Natalie & I ~

Daughter Date Night!!
11-19-16
Quite a few people who were in The Music Man wit us were in this play too so we wanted to come see them...plus Hairspray is on of our faves!!

Tanner has been working hard on his Grandma school!!  He is going to have a rude awakening when it comes to real school though.  Grandma works with him once a week for an hour and a half or so and about every 20 minutes he will pretend a yawn and say "I'm tired".  That's his way of saying I'm done!!  Every day all day is going to be a big change.  He is learning so much!!

One of his school days he got to go on a field trip with Grandma to go see
some turkeys and other farm animals.
11-22-16

He got to feed some ducks too!!

Turkey pit at the Wilkin's

That's a lot of turkeys!!

These guys loved all the meat they got from it!!  They cooked a turkey and a brisket in the pit.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
11-24-16
Watching Charlie Brown Thanksgiving every year is a must!!

Grandma doing her thing

Yum!!

THANKFUL ~ GRATEFUL ~ BLESSED

Someone learned how to ride a bike without training wheels!!
In Tanner's own words, "I was riding and Daddy was holding on to the back of me.  Then I just ripped out of his hands and went super fast and Daddy couldn't catch me!!"

Way to Go Bud!!

It was hard work!! Ü

Then there's these three crazy kittens!!
~ Kassidy, Kyle, & Kalayna ~
They grew!!

At the end of November they went into the habitat at Petco...and were quickly adopted.  Yay!!!
Bye guys!!  It was fun...but we're needing a little kitty break after you 3. Ü

I was never sent a picture of Kyle with his forever family, but Kalayna & Kassidy look like they will make their families very happy. Ü

We still do have Chloe girl.  She was pretty happy to see the kitties go too. Ü

Although she's been a little stinker lately by running outside every change she gets.  At almost 3 years old I think she's in her rebellious teenage phase. Ü

These 2 boys made the Jr. High basketball team!!!  Whoo Hoo!!

And this guy is volunteering as their assistant coach!

They played their first game on November 30th against Legacy Queen Creek

Andy is #32 and is one of the starters on the team

Ales is #5

Doing his coaching thing Ü

They lost...but I say its not too bad for their first game.  Especially because Legacy had already played 4 games by this point.  So yeah, not bad at all.  Good job Warriors!!

Too fun!!  I like being a sports momma. Ü
After the b-ball game it was off to soccer practice for Tanner and Ben and then quickly home to change, eat, and get to Abby's choir concert!!
11-30-16
