6 Year Olds

These guys had a birthday today!!
Andy
Alex

My kids are so weird. Whenever you ask them what they want for Christmas or a birthday they start rattling off food items.

Andy wanted his own box of frozen waffles

his own box of Twinkiesand his own box if cinnamon toast crunchAlex got his own munchies tooThis was the funniest. I sent the kids out to the garage to find a surprsie in the freezer - the frozen waffles. Even though Andy was the one who asked for them I was going to say it was for both of them. Alex came back in with this water bottle with the hugest smile on his face. He had been asking for a new water bottle - even though he has one that works fine - and he was so excited for his new HUGE frozen one. That thing has been sitting in the freezer for a couple of years now!! We forgot to take it with us one year on one of our trips and every time I clean out the freezer I just leave it in there thinking one of these days it will come in handy. I guess today was the day. Alex was as pleased as punch with his surprise in the freezer and Andy came in wondering where his water bottle was - he hadn't even seen the frozen waffles which were right there on top! They did get non edible items for gifts as well

$ for our upcoming CA trip

Alex reading his new Magic Tree House book with his new magnifying glass

New Skateboards!!

Grandma Allen gave the boys their birthday present when she was here in August ~ their photo collages!
Worm Cake made by Grandma Pam ~ Loved it!
(since several of you asked she also made Ben's Elmo cake)

I caught this shot in the middle of them wrestling after church ~ it's a love/hate relationship most of the time
Oh, and Andy learned to roll his tongue

Happy Birthday Boys!!

Happy birthday boys!

I love that they want food, too funny! (maybe shows the mark of a large family?--I wouldn't know)

The cake is adorable--your mom is very talented!
