All Things Tanner...2 1/2 years old

It's been 6 months since I've done a post just about Tanner.  This boy lives life...let me tell ya!!  Extremely happy to extremely not in the blink of an eye...and all the emotions in between.  Get ready for some classic Tanner...

He likes his pockets

Snuggle bug!!

He was a trooper going out walking with me most mornings when the kids were in school.
We braved some cold ones together!!

This kid can say most nursery rhymes and sing most primary songs...but I can't get him to count past 2..or get his colors straight!!

 That face!!! Ü

So proud!!

He most likely was using the sword as a baseball bat.  He will bring you anything long to swing and anything small to hit and say, "Play soccer please?"

He always excitedly goes and gets someone's scriptures when it's time to read.
He loves to say scriptures with Daddy.

Brother's shirt and Sister's shoes

The Tanner smile

He worked hard coloring in his Magna Doodle

Grandma was watching him...he put this case on his head, went and got the camera, then said, "Take a picture!!'

Barney is one of his faves!!  Along with Sesame Street and Bob the Builder.  He's starting to get into Blues Clues and Mickey Mouse.  When watching shows with his big sibs he will run out of the room during the parts that are "scary".
He brought some of his animals down and posed them all to watch with him.

Lots of people love him!!

~ Fun with Mom and Dad ~

again, all animals were arranged by him for story time

The Tanner Fan Club!!
Eva & Olivia Allen who I watched every Thursday during the school year.  They were ALL over him ALL the time.  Usually he hated it but this day I was able to snap a cut pic. Ü

Andy does especially well with Tanner.
Alex, when asked to help with him usually says. "I don't do babies." Ü
They both have fun with him though.

Abby is by far Tanner's favorite.  Sometimes he calls for her before me!!

Tanner and his buddy Logan

Fanny Faces

Sneaking into the cereal cupboard is one of his favorite activities

Mommy's shoes this time

Gabe is Tanner's favorite friend!!

One morning Tanner was in my room and we were reading books.  He told me he needed a drink so I told him to go down and get one - knowing that his water bottle was right on the table from the night before.  After a while I went down to check on him...and found THIS!!  He gotten the juice out of the fridge and when it spilled decided it still was good enough to drink!!

Leg in the Bib

This morning he was into sword fighting with a flower.  This is his tough "I'm gonna get you" look.

Whenever he falls on the floor he says, "I died!"

Peek-a-Boo

Things you will most likely hear Tanner say...
Don't Touch Me!  Don't Look At Me!!  NO!!  Stop It!! and the newest one...Mommy, Ben Did It!! Ü
Screaming is one of the things he's best at...sometimes he screams just for fun!!

Lamp Head

 My Sick Buddy :(

Total Boy!!
Surrounded by balls and babes!!!
Eva again

Yes, he still has a binky.  He usually only has it at nap time or night time but sometimes he does sneak one...or two!..downstairs. Ü

                       Wearing Daddy's long hair wig

He loves the visitor stickers at ALA.  He has to get one every time!!

Crawling under Kathy's dress!!

My Tired Boy!!

Who doesn't like to read in a basket?

Another self sufficient moment...
Tanner decided he wanted some bread...so he grabbed half the loaf!!

He ran in circles with this apron and monkey on for a LONG while!!

He loves to be outside!!

Tanner is VERY imaginative.  He's hardly ever Tanner...most often he is baby Tanner or some kind of animal.  Every morning when I go in to to get him he tells me who he is that day.  Sometimes he's baby doggy, or a baby kitty, or baby goat, baby monkey, baby bunny...it changes throughout the day.  One time, after reading "Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What do you Hear?",  he was even a baby leopard for a while!!  Sometimes he plays that I'm the baby and he's the mommy.  When we play this we always have to switch water bottles.  Sometime he'll come up to me with something in his arms and say, "I'm daddy...I go to work (or I go to church). Bye!"  Lately he likes to pretend he's Cat in the Hat...and when he's Cat in the Hat he always says, "and your Dr. Seuss!"  Whenever he sees a picture of the Cat in the Hat he'll say, "Its me!!"  He also gives this response when he sees a picture of Carrie Underwood as Maria in the Sound of Music that is in the Despicable Me II box...he'll point at her and say "Its me!" and carry the picture around...don't get that one...but its sure funny!!  He's also discovered the "Ma-Na-Ma-Na" song and when we watch it he'll point to the muppet and say, "Me!!  My song!!"

Being Cat in the Hat
I got a fun video of him dancing around the living room with this hat over his head!!

When he needs help he doesn't say "help me!" he says "help us!!"

He loves to play with Daddy!!
He also loves to go up and sit with Daddy during the closing song in sacrament meeting.
Cutest thing ever!!

a Tanner on the ceiling

12:00 church is hard!  He always comes home so pooped!!
Sometimes I just can't keep him awake.

Good Big Sister!!

He is my first to hide when he poops...and he hates being changed!!
...but he has a cute swim suit!! Ü

We Love the Library!!

Can't just leave him in his seat anymore!!

 Eating Big Grapes with Dad

He likes Hot Cheetos!!

Playing with the Tinker Toy airplane I built for him

Playing Pass the Pig with Dad

Today he got the yard stick and told me he was a shepherd!

Never a dull moment!!
Sister Morris captured this shot during nursery

Being 2 can be terrible...but mostly its terrific!!
